The Vista Wallpapers is an independent, non-profit website and is not affiliated with nor authorized by Microsoft.

The Vista Wallpapers is an extension of The Vista Forums - home to the biggest Windows Vista community, with over 20,000 members and 150,000 posts at the time of writing. The objective of this website it to be the biggest repository of Windows Vista-themed wallpapers.

We do not claim ownership on all the desktop wallpapers hosted here. The original creators, if known, are credited in the description of the individual wallpapers. If you are the original creator of an artwork and find your name missing, please contact us immediately.

2) Advertising
Being a non-profit website, we depend on sponsors to pay for our monthly server fees, site maintenance, contest prizes, etc.

We have only ONE 728×90 banner space (max. 6 in rotation) available on The Vista Wallpapers (bottom, site-wide), The Vista Tweaks (bottom, site-wide) and The Vista Forums (top, site-wide). Combined, these websites receive well over 250,000 unique visitors and 600,000 pageviews a month - 75% of the traffic are from the United States.
